The Association's mission is the regulation and development of the professional field of hypnosis and hypnotherapy in Armenia. The organization's activities pursue exclusively non-medical and non-clinical purposes.
THE OBJECT AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION
Define minimum professional standards for hypnotists
Define minimum professional standards for hypnotherapists
Conduct qualification verification, assessment, and certification
Implement organizational functions aimed at continuing education
Develop a code of ethics
Engage in the scientific study and development of hypnosis
Support scientific research and collaborate with international institutes
Conduct independent expertise
Serve as a platform for collaboration, experience exchange, and capacity building
MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
This status is granted to practicing specialists who have the right to conduct independent therapeutic activities.
Education: Higher education (Master's degree or certified specialist) in psychology, medicine, or related humanitarian/biological sciences.
Specialization: Specialized education in hypnosis, hypnotherapy, or clinical psychotherapy (minimum of 250 academic hours of theoretical and practical training), validated by certificates/diplomas acceptable to the Association.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of confirmed practical experience and completed supervision (minimum of 50 hours).
Recommendation: Written recommendation from at least two Full Members of the Association.
Designed for specialists who are still in the process of gaining full qualification or accumulating practice.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology/medicine.
Specialization: Ongoing or completed basic education in hypnotherapy (minimum of 100 academic hours).
Limitation of Rights: They have an advisory voting right but cannot be elected to the governing and executive bodies of the Association.
Designed to support and engage future specialists.
Education: Current students (Bachelor's, Master's, or Residency programs) of psychology, medicine, or psychiatry faculties at Armenian or foreign universities.
Rights: They do not have voting rights in elections, but they benefit from the Association's educational and informational resources under discounted conditions.
Granted by the decision of the Association's Board to individuals (including foreign specialists) who have made an outstanding contribution to the scientific research and development of hypnosis or the establishment of the Association. They are exempt from membership fees.
